This is an X-ray from an Osprey in the area that swallowed a fish hook. Sadly it didn't end up surviving 😔

Like we talked about before, there is no way to completely prevent things like this from happening, but just be aware that hooks left in fish can end up in these birds. Photo via Peggy at Umpqua Wildlife Rescue
