Thomas was traveling north in the right lane of Stephens. Thomas did not see Sellman in the lane next to her and changed lanes directly into the passenger side of Sellman's truck.Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and were not drivable. Thomas reported head/neck pain and was transported to Mercy Medical Center via ambulance. Both vehicles were towed by Roseburg Towing. DISPO: Traffic Collision. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 09/23/2020 (02:00 AM) LOCATION: 1100 Block Newton Creek, Roseburg INCIDENT: Non-Injury Vehicle Collision CASE #: 204148 PERSON(S): (D1) May, Thomas (21) Roseburg CHARGE(S): VEHICLE(S): May - White 2012 Hyundai Sonata (OR 735GUJ), DFN Vehicle (parked) - White 1999 Ford DFN van (OR 544KHM) DETAIL(S): May advised he swerved to miss a deer on Newton Creek and ran into the back of a parked Douglas Fast Net truck. The truck had minor rear bumper damage and May's vehicle was totaled. Roseburg Towing arrived and removed May's vehicle from the road. Information was exchanged with the DFN employee.
