CHI Mercy Updates Visiting Hours, Policy
2:19 AM · Feb 19, 2022Effective Monday, Feb. 21, CHI Mercy Medical Center is updating their visiting hours and allowing more visitors after limiting hours and numbers due to a surge in Covid-19 cases in the community. Masks are required at all of the facilities for patients, staff, and visitors. Other personal protective equipment measures may be required upon arrival. Mercy’s visiting hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. All employees, patients and visitors will answer screening questions prior to entering any of our medical facilities, offices and clinics. Effective Monday, February 21, 2022: Visitation hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Outpatients Allowed One (1) Visitor Per Day Per Patient (please see link for details) Inpatients Hospital-Wide Allowed Two (2) Visitors at a time during visitation hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with some exceptions. Family BirthPlace Patients Allowed Two (2) Visitors at a time. Children under 12 are not permitted in the unit at this time. Emergency Department patients may have One (1) Visitor at a time in the patient exam room due to spacing requirements. Pediatric patients may have two guardians whether they are in the ED or Pediatric unit for their care.
