More Air Resources Brought in to Help With Local Wildfires
9:50 PM · Aug 2, 2021Two single engine air tankers (SEAT's) have been brought to Douglas County to help with fire suppression efforts according to DFPA this morning. There are several new lightning fires that were started in the county yesterday. SEAT's can deliver up to 800 gallons of fire retardant at a time. These photos show two SEAT's that arrived at the Roseburg Airport around noon today. DFPA also said there are currently four helicopters working the fires as well.
