What's Areas Are Open and Closed Up At Diamond Lake
5:42 PM · Oct 8, 2020(UNF) The Diamond Lake area has recently reopened for public recreation, but be aware that certain campgrounds, trails, and forest roads in the vicinity remain closed. Thielsen View Campground will remain open on a first-come, first-served basis until October 28, weather permitting. However, Diamond Lake Campground and Broken Arrow Campground are closed for the season. Additionally, part of Diamond Lake Ranger District remains closed due to ongoing fire activity. You can view the most recent fire closures and maps at www.fs.usda.gov/alerts/umpqua/alerts-notices. If visiting the Diamond Lake area, consider printing copies of the closure map and bringing them with you. Staying out of this closed area is critical for keeping yourself and our firefighters safe.
