Roseburg Rotary Club Establishes Douglas County Wildfire & Disaster Relief Fund
9:29 PM · Sep 15, 2020The Roseburg Rotary Club established a Wildfire and Disaster Relief Fund to help support Douglas County last week. “Our community Support is overwhelming and due to the extreme generosity the donation of items is becoming a logistical issue for organizations,” Club President Zack Skoglie said. “Currently we are accepting monetary donations to help provide support when and where it is needed, which includes displaced families and firefighters. We look forward to partnering with local groups and Organizations to help provide relief in these difficult times.” Donations can be made to: Douglas County Wildfire & Disaster Relief Fund (or mention of Roseburg Rotary Club’s Relief Fund) at any Banner Bank, or through PayPal on the Roseburg Rotary Club Facebook page or its website: RoseburgRotaryClub.org. The Rotary Club of Roseburg said in a release that they meet every Thursday for one hour at noon for lunch and fellowship at the Roseburg Country Club. “We invite people throughout Douglas County to join us in our team effort to help grow funds for our immediate well-needed project, the Douglas County Disaster Relief Fund for this year, and to continue for our County’s needs in future years,” Skoglie said.
