Wind Beginning to Blow Wildfire Smoke Out East

The wind is starting to blow the smoke off to the east now as you can see from this satellite shot right before sunset. The problem is there is thick smoke for hundreds of miles out to the west that needs to be cleared up. It might not be cleared up until sometime early this next week. Let us hope that it happens sooner. Side note, once the smoke starts clearing it we might see an increase in fire activity as the current smoke is kind of smothering the fire. We'll shall see.
