Shake stated he almost struck the cyclist, and watched the male ride away in his rearview mirror. As Shake was watching the male in his mirror, he drifted to the right shoulder and struck the rear end of a parked Toyota Corolla belonging to Jackson. Shake was uninjured and both vehicles appeared to be totaled. Shake did not have insurance and Roseburg Towing responded to remove both vehicles. DISPO: Traffic Collision. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 08/26/2020 (10:15 AM) LOCATION: 900 Block Garden Valley, Roseburg (Duck Pond) INCIDENT: Assault CASE #: 203725 PERSON(S): (S/V) Elder, Brandon Allan (29) Transient, (S) Thompson, Stephen James (43) Transient CHARGE(S): Elder – Warrant / Failure to Appear - Contempt of Court (Circuit Court), Thompson – Assault IV VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Thompson allegedly punched Elder in the face near the entrance to the Stewart Park duck pond. Thompson then fled back into the nature trail area of the duck pond. Elder was treated by medics at the scene for minor injuries. Thompson was later located and charged with assault. Elder also had a warrant for his arrest, and he was cited and released on that. DISPO: Cited and Released. The owner, Park, confronted her outside after she left and asked Ridgley to pay or stay and talk to the police. Ridgley shoved Park out of the way and left. Schuster was later contacted and stated she thought the money was hers since Bartholomew left her machine to use the restroom. Schuster also had the listed warrant for her arrest.
