A Portion of NE Winchester Street Closing For Paving Starting August 24

Roseburg OR – Starting on Monday, August 24, 2020, City contractors will close NE Winchester Street at the intersection of NE Stephens Street to continue pavement improvements. Beginning at 7 a.m., detour signs will be posted directing traffic to use alternative routes. This closure will remain in effect until Friday, September 4, 2020. Southbound traffic will be routed to NE Diamond Lake Boulevard from NE Stephens. Northbound traffic on NE Winchester Street will be diverted to NE Shambrook Avenue to NE Stephens Street. Drivers, who use NE Winchester to commute, are advised to use other routes, if possible. Please exercise caution, drive slowly, and watch for traffic control devices while traveling along these routes. During the closure, City contractors will continue making ADA improvements to various side streets along NE Winchester.
