PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: DATE/TIME: 08/13/2020 (07:15 AM) LOCATION: SE Mosher / SE Pine, Roseburg 97470 INCIDENT: Disorderly Conduct II CASE #: 203525 PERSON(S): (S) Birdsell, Steven Bryan (56 yoa) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Criminal Trespass II VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): An officer observed Birdsell, who was riding his bicycle, begin to cross SE Pine on SE Mosher toward the river. There was a white passenger car at a safe distance behind Birdsell also crossing SE Pine. Birdsell became extremely agitated and started yelling at the two female occupants inside the car. Birdsell jumped off of his bike and charged at the car. The car stopped and Birdsell then started punching the passenger side window and tried to reach inside the open window. The driver sped off and ran over the top of Birdsell's foot. Birdsell was clearly the agitator during this incident. Birdsell was cited and released on scene for Disorderly Conduct II.An officer attempted to locate the vehicle involved but was unable to find them and they did not call into Dispatch. DISPO: PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: DATE/TIME: 08/13/2020 (10:50 AM) LOCATION: Clint Newell (662 NE Garden Valley Blvd) Roseburg INCIDENT: Trespass CASE #: 203449 PERSON(S): (S) Basgall, Ashley Denise (28) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Criminal Trespass II VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Ashley was seen on 8/8/20, at Clint Newell trying to get in all of the doors. Ashley had previously been trespassed from the property. On 8/13/20 An officer contacted Ashley and cited her for Criminal Trespass II. DISPO: Cleared by arrest. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: DATE/TIME: 08/13/2020 (06:00 PM) LOCATION: 2125 NW Stewart Parkway, Roseburg INCIDENT: Disorderly Conduct CASE #: 203534 PERSON(S): S- Dildine, Austin (31) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree, Interfering With a Peace Officer VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Dildine was called in for yelling and punching signs in the Walmart parking lot. When an officer arrived on scene he was charging at employees as they ran away.The officer held Dildine at Taser point until a second officer arrived on scene a short time later. During officer’s approach to arrest, Dildine got up and ran away but was caught and arrested. He threatened to fight Walmart employees, firefighters, and medics. Once at the jail, he was not able to be lodged due to COVID restrictions. Dildine was ultimately cited and released at the sally port. DISPO: Cleared by arrest PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: DATE/TIME: 08/13/2020 (07:28 PM) LOCATION: Beaumont/Keasey, Roseburg INCIDENT: Non-Injury Accident CASE #: 203536 PERSON(S): (#1) A seven year old female Roseburg, (#2) A sixteen year old male Roseburg CHARGE(S): N/A VEHICLE(S): (VEH#2) 2002 Maroon Chevy pickup, (VEH#1) Skateboard DETAIL(S): An officer responded to the location for a vehicle versus a skateboard rider. The male driver said he was driving north on Keasey in his pickup and stopped to make a left turn onto Beaumont. He said he saw two boys on scooters preparing to cross the street so he waited. He said they stopped and waited for him to go. He said he started to proceed west onto Beaumont when a very young girl on a skateboard riding south on the sidewalk ran into his pickup. The young girl, who was riding a skateboard, was wearing a helmet and was mostly scared and a little scuffed up but was otherwise fine. The girl was checked by paramedics and found to be uninjured.
