3rd Annual Lavender Festival & Farm Tour This Weekend
9:31 PM · Jul 7, 2020Growing Miracles Lavender Garden is hosting its 3rd Annual Lavender Festival & Farm Tour on July 10, 11 and 12. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The lavender farm is located at 508 Lower Garden Valley Road in Roseburg. The free family festival will include many local vendors along with a lavender u-pick. In addition vendors will be selling coffee, tea, honey, soaps, art, jewelry, everything lavender and food. A guitar player will also provide some music entertainment for parts of the festival. “There will be essential oils and other lavender products,” Keri Kovach owner of Growing Miracles Lavender Garden said. “We won’t have the wreath making booth, it’s the most popular but we can’t really social distance with that and there won’t be a farmer led tour.” Future Farmers of America Douglas will help run the lavender lemonade stand and they will receive the proceeds. FFA Douglas will also be helping with parking and the event is asking for a $2 parking donation that would also go to the FFA. “Masks are required and if people have medical conditions that prevent them from wearing a mask, they’re still welcome,” Kovach said. “We will have hand sanitizer at every both, extra hand washing stations, a 60 acre farm and booths will be spread out. Will have reminders to remain six feet apart and to respect others space.” People who can’t attend can also purchase items on growingmiracleslavendergarden.com
