Cherry Season Has Started in Douglas County

Local cherries are now available for U-pick at Orchards around Douglas County. The season lasts about 3 weeks and should end sometime around the first of July. Guido Orchards on Shady Lane is open 7 days a week from 8:00am - 5:30pm. The varieties they have available include: Bing, Royal Ann, Rainier & Pie Cherries. U-pick is $1.75/lb and already picked is $3.25/lb. They have Rainer, Bing and Pie Cherries for U-pick. Address: 540 Winston Section Rd.
