Bixby was traveling north on Renann and made a left turn directly in front of Dillender into the rear entrance of Walmart. The two cars collided in the southbound lane. Neither party was injured. Post pulled into a parking spot in the Urgent Care lot facing Willis' vehicle. There is a 3' wide concrete bordered landscape area with shrubbery in between the two lots. Post mistakenly hit the gas, instead of the brake, which caused her car to jump the landscape area and strike Willis' vehicle. The impact pushed Willis' vehicle back about three feet. There were no injuries and Post called for her own tow. DISPO: Traffic Collision. Krone allegedly grabbed Castro's arm and scratched her face during the incident. DISPO: Cited and Released. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 01/07/2020 (02:56 PM) LOCATION: 433 NE Stephens, Roseburg (Dairy Queen) INCIDENT: Theft CASE #: 200101 PERSON(S): (S) Surkamer, Russell Scott (64) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Theft III, Tampering with Evidence VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Surkamer allegedly stole a female's purse from Dairy Queen. He then drove to Stewart Park and threw the purse in the trash. Officers were not able to retrieve the purse or its contents. DISPO: Cited and Released. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 01/07/2020 (02:59 PM) LOCATION: 2553 Stewart Parkway, Roseburg (Sherm’s) INCIDENT: Shoplifting CASE #: 200100 PERSON(S): (S) Taylor, Stefanie Kae (51) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Theft III, Criminal Trespass I, Probation Violation VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Taylor was previously trespassed from Sherm’s in 2014 for life and went back to the store on this day and allegedly stole merchandise. Loss Prevention detained Taylor until law enforcement arrived. Taylor was additionally charged with violating her probation conditions. DISPO: Lodged at Corrections. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 01/07/2020 (05:26 PM) LOCATION: Diamond Lake / Fulton, Roseburg INCIDENT: Injury Traffic Collision CASE #: 200103 PERSON(S): (D1) Townsend, Marcie Lee (52) Roseburg , (D2) Vasquez Martinez, Raul (55) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Townsend - Dangerous Left Turn VEHICLE(S): Townsend - OR ZGW015 Maroon 2002 Mazda Protégé, Vasquez - OR UMH371 White 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis DETAIL(S): Townsend was traveling east on Diamond Lake and Vasquez was traveling west in the inside lane. Townsend made a left turn onto Fulton, directly in front of Vasquez. The two cars collided in the inside lane of Diamond Lake.Townsend's car ended up in the Dutch Brother's landscaping area, almost against the building. Townsend had a 16 year old passenger in the front passenger seat, where most of the impact occurred, but she was uninjured. Townsend was unconscious and was transported to Mercy Medical Center for treatment. Townsend was diagnosed with a minor brain bleed at Mercy and transferred to Riverbend Hospital in Springfield for monitoring. Vasquez claimed he was uninjured. Both vehicles were totaled and removed by Roseburg Towing. DISPO: Traffic Collision. CHARGE(S): Criminal Trespass II VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Barnes refused to leave the hospital upon discharge, and even after warnings and requests from security and police officers.
