Rare Animal Spotted Crossing Diamond Lake
This afternoon just after 4pm, what appears to be an American Badger ran across the frozen surface of Diamond Lake. Ginger Finch snapped these photos at 4:02pm from just outside the Bailey Room at she estimates the animal was about 120 yards away. American Badgers are usually seen in Oregon east of the Cascade range according to ODFW. Photos by Ginger Finch The photos have been submitted to inaturalist and so far there are two confirmations of it being an American Badger. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/255467535
