Powerful Winter Storm System to Bring Wind, Rain, and Mountain Snow to Southern Oregon Region
A significant winter weather system is set to impact Southern Oregon from Sunday night through Monday night (November 10-11), bringing challenging conditions to the region. The system will bring strong winds with gusts up to 55 mph in exposed areas, substantial rainfall ranging from a quarter inch to three inches depending on location, and heavy mountain snow accumulations above 4,500 feet elevation. The effects of this weather system will linger into early Tuesday, with mountain areas expected to receive up to 20 inches of snow through Tuesday afternoon.
