Crater Lake Received 6 Inches of New Snow Last Night

Here is the latest Crater Lake snow report from Ranger Jan. "The rim saw about 6 in of snow last night, following a few hours of rain. It's currently 31° with light sprinkles and snow flurries. This is a great day for snowshoers and skiers, and for those who love to play in the snow and enjoy the art of snow laden trees. The road from headquarters to the rim is plowed and sanded. Visibility at the lake is near zero and based on the weather forecast not expected to improve today, but mother nature has a way of fooling us. The forecast for tomorrow looks great. I recommend checking the webcam in the morning. The webcam at the entrance station is not updating."
