Umpqua Community College Pool Open For the Summer

As summer brings in the pool season, the Umpqua Community College Pool is excited to announce its doors are officially open! The pool will be open from Monday to Saturday, with a schedule designed to cater to the community's diverse needs. Please note that the pool will be closed on Sundays and July 4th. The schedule from Monday to Thursday will start with a Lap Swim from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., followed by Swim Lessons from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. There will be another session of Lap Swim from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. After this, the pool will be open for Community Swim from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a second Swim Lessons slot from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Fridays will begin with a Lap Swim session from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., with the pool re-opening for Lap Swim from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., and Open Community Swim from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturdays are dedicated to the community, with Open Community Swim from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The cost for using the pool is a budget-friendly $3.00 per person. There's also a special 'Wacky Wednesday' deal offering a discounted open/community swim session for just $2.00 per person from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. For those interested in more structured lessons, a wide range of classes are available, including private and semi-private lessons, beginner, intermediate, and advanced swimming lessons.
