Discover Oregon's Native Flora at Glide Wildflower Show 2023

The 2023 Glide Wildflower Show is set to impress visitors with a stunning display of native flora at the Glide Community Center in Glide, Oregon. The event will be on April 29-30th and is open from 9 am to 5 pm on both Saturday and Sunday, with exclusive photographer access from 8 am to 9 am each day. Established in 1965, the Glide Wildflower Show has become the largest exhibition of native plants in the northwest, showcasing over 600 species of flowers, shrubs, grasses, ferns, lichens, and mosses. Collecting teams gather specimens from southwest Oregon, spanning from the Cascade Mountains to the coast. Visitors can expect a variety of food options, including the show's signature homemade pies. The venue is handicapped accessible, and roving botanists will be available throughout the weekend to answer any questions. Rare and endangered species photographs will be on display, and flora books and guides will be available for purchase. The building will be kept cool to preserve the flowers, so visitors are advised to dress warmly.
