Remembering Austin Mitchell Clark

5:08 PM · Feb 26, 2023

Austin Mitchell Clark "Ozzy" born to Annette Brisco and Thomas Clark on Feb. 2, 1988 was discovered deceased on Feb. 12, 2023 from homicide. Family and friends are deeply saddened and outraged by the sudden, tragic and, as yet, unexplained loss. Austin was an enthusiastic outdoorsman. From a early age, he could be found exploring the woods with his dog as constant companion. Though he did not care for school room learning, if something caught his interest - meticulous research ensued. He was always happy to share his knowledge and time. He considered it time well spent if he could teach someone life skills or just help with a garden, chop wood or take a hike and be a shoulder to lean on. His passion was mushroom hunting and collecting shed antlers. He truly lived on his own terms by finding the way to turn his passion into income. To all who knew Austin, he was kind, helpful, and respectful. To friends and family, his love and loyalty knew no bounds. Gone but never forgotten, The Mushroom Man was a great man and an old soul. Whose memory lives on with those he loved.
