Douglas County Birds: Western Meadowlark
8:18 PM · May 12, 2022The Western Meadowlark is Oregons state bird. Western Meadowlarks like wide open fields, they can often be seen on top of bushes and shrubs in these fields. They eat seeds, insects, beetles, and grasshoppers ect. Western Meadowlarks nest on the ground in fields or pastures.
