I-5 Closed Between Ashland and Redding Due to Blizzard

At Caltrans request, ODOT is closing southbound Interstate 5 at Ashland -- Exit 14 --due to blizzard conditions, heavy snow and multiple disabled vehicles. Earlier, Caltrans closed I-5 southbound at Weed due to poor conditions and disabled vehicles south to Redding. There is no estimated time of reopening. I-5 northbound is closed north of Redding, according to Caltrans. California-bound traffic should delay travel and seek overnight services in communities on the I-5 corridor in Oregon.
