Diamond Lake has seen its snowpack level increase by about 16 inches this past week and now has a snowpack around 30 inches at the measuring station up there. (Levels in surrounding areas may be higher.) The latest round of snow has increased the Snow Water Equivalent % is up to 79% of normal, up about 7% in the past week. So still below what we are used to seeing, but things are improving. A few more storms would be very helpful. According to weather forecasts, another system isn't set to arrive in the Cascades until early to mid next week.
