Winds in Douglas County will be moderate in the low lying areas, but very gusty at some of the higher elevations, especially at the coast and up in the mountains. NWS - Flood watch for some areas Flood Watch in effect for Sunday Morning through late Monday night. Heavy rains with some snow melt will bring sharp river rises and swollen creeks and streams. Flooding possible across small rivers, streams and creeks and low lying areas. Stay alert and don't drive across flooded roadways. Turn around don't drown! NWS - Snowfall - Moderate to heavy snow accumulations are expected through Tuesday morning with the heaviest snowfall accumulations expected in the Mount Shasta area. Heaviest snow in the Mount Shasta area is expected above 4000 feet elevation, but moderate to heavy snow may impact elevations down to 3500 feet at times Monday through Tuesday morning. Also moderate to heavy snow is expected in the higher mountains in western Siskiyou County. Light to moderate snow is expected in the Siskiyous and Southern Oregon Cascades. Be prepared for winter travel conditions with slippery roads and poor visibilities.
