Mountain Mike's Pizza and Cascade Coffee Begin Construction Near Roseburg High

The smell of pizza and coffee will be in the air near Roseburg high school later this year. Mountain Mike’s Pizza has begun construction at the corner of Harvard and Bellows near Roseburg High and DHS. Cascade Coffee will also be going into the same building and will feature a sit down coffee shop. James Smith is the owner of Rogue Fare Holdings, LLC which is the property management company, that’s building the building. Smith also will operate both Mountain Mikes and Cascade Coffee. “We’re excited to be done by the end of the year,” Smith said. “We’re hoping for an early December open. It’s the right spot. I’m super excited to open in Roseburg.” Mountain Mike’s will feature a family friendly environment with an arcade room and family room for parties and team events. “The reason why I’m so excited to be in Roseburg, we have people coming and visiting our Mountain Mike’s in Medford all the time and they want it in Roseburg,” Smith said. “The pizza shows up different, it’s all fresh made in house, traditional red sauce pizza.” Smith has an agreement to franchise more of the Mountain Mikes throughout Oregon, as Roseburg will be its second location. “I think there is a need for more of these family friendly dining experiences across Oregon,” Smith said. “All you can eat salad bar and pizza at lunch during the week, lots of appetizers, bread sticks with in-house made dough, and chicken wings, so a variety of items for whatever your taste. "I’ve been in Oregon my whole life so I’ve been around Southern Oregon,” Smith said. “There aren’t any dine-in coffee shops on the Southwest side of Roseburg, so no drive thru here, coffee is meant to be enjoyed in person and in a coffee shop.”
