Douglas County COVID-19 Update for Monday April 6th

Douglas County announced one new case of COVID-19 today bringing the total number of positive cases to 12. There has been 1 recovered, 0 deaths, and 416 negative tests for COVID-19. Oregon announced 2 new deaths due to COVID-19 and total cases increased by 64 to 1,132. A 93-year-old Washington County man and 70-year-old Marion County woman both passed away due to the illness, bringing the death toll statewide to to 29. As of this afternoon, the US had recorded +27,056 new coronavirus cases for a total of 363,729. There were also 1,166 new deaths for a total of 10,782. 19,532 of the 363,729 cases have recovered in the US so far. At least 8,878 remain in serious/critical condition.
